Yennevo song has an interesting music and pitch. I’d say it’s addictive and somehow has a veritable AR Rahman’s Midas touch to it. The guitar strum is superb and the music somehow has somewhat a background clatter that is freshly different.
The combo of Bala Ganapathi Williams and Karthik Syamalan makes for a good music video but it’s just that, good. It is not outstanding or spectacular, the usual recycled plot of a married couple fighting, separation, tears, yearning and regret. Truth to be told, I am cloyed with such a concept which is being done in overkill.
Nevertheless, Yennevo is a good sneak peek as to what one can expect from the motion picture Mangalyam Thanthunanena.
